Come Who Are Heavy Laden – God Loves You!

God wants us to be saved and gain an eternal life. The experience is amazing when such an event occurs in one’s life.

We have all Sinned
We are all born of sin and carry with us a sinful nature. Knowingly or unknowingly we all sin which separates us from God. This separates us from experiencing the glory and grace of God. Romans 3:23-24 : 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. So the sin can be overturned through reaching out to Jesus through whose grace we start learning to live a life cleansed of sin.

The wage of Sin is death

Romans 6: 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[a] Christ Jesus our Lord.

After Death is Judgement

Most people are aware that there is a Heaven where we go after we die and also that we have to face judgement. None of us will pass when we face this judgement as we have all fallen short of our Father’s standards of goodness. It is only through His Son that we can enter the gates of Heaven and gain an everlasting life.

Hebrews 9:27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

After The Judgement Comes The Sentence

Revelation 20:15
In this world itself God’s salvation is available to all of us only if we are willing to accept the Father in Heaven and believe that He sent His son Jesus to die for our sins so we can have an everlasting life in Heaven. When we do this our names are written in the Book of Life.

15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Jesus our Everlasting Lord

I have been thinking of Palm Sunday today being the very day today as never before. Jesus appeared on this day openly in Jerusalem in all his glory and power.  His humility was revealed in his choosing a donkey and a colt to ride into the town to meet the very ordinary and common people who came out in huge crowds to see him for he gave hope to those who needed hope. For his heart was with the multitude.

The above incident is in stark contrast to his time of returning to reign the world for thousand years when his arrival will be resplendent in much greater glory as he will arrive with a thousand select to judge and reign in righteousness . Revelation 17:14 “They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings–and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”

Palm Sunday is the day today in which I feel that he has captured my heart and will emanate all around me wherever I go.  He arrived in the city of Jerusalem and he will arrive in every city, town, village and suburb in the entire world before his final arrival through transforming hearts and making them holy and full of love.  He is powerful, majestic and everlasting.  He is a our very hope and our very life for he is in all and all in all. Colossians 1:17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
